Many of our specialty winning Fox Terriers have earned
their Earthdog titles.
Our first Homebred Champion also has an Obedience
title of Companion Dog, Ch Sunrise Apostle, CD. Before
too long we hope "Paige", "Joe"
and "Joyce" will also demonstrate the companionability
in the obedience ring. (The girls' training schedules
have been interrupted by pregnancies and Joe's training
makes slow but steady progress.)
We celebrate the versatility of the Fox Terrier and
believe that every Smooth, if bred for
sound temperament and given the proper training opportunities,
can achieve at least these
basic AKC Titles. The club memberships we hold have
fostered our growth in all these pursuits and this
has truly enhanced our lives with our Smooth Fox Terriers.
Our first Smooth Fox Terrier was rescued from the
streets of Pasadena...
Golden Medley's Pandora, "Puppy"
ran up to our front porch one dark and stormy twilight
actually. In aspiring to be versatile members of the
Fox Terrier community we have also made a commitment
to assist with rescue when asked. We do our utmost
to insure that Fox Terriers from our breeding or bloodlines
will not end up in rescue by microchipping all puppies
sold, by offering sterilization rebates to puppy buyers
and by staying in touch with our puppies' families
even if just with a holiday greeting each year. We
never see the sunset on our responsibility to our
Fox Terriers
